Cambro^® 2021 – Food Storage Makeover Contest Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO FOODSERVICE END-USER OPERATORS WHO ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AS OF DATE OF ENTRY.

Employees, officers, manufacturer's representatives, dealers, distributors, foodservice consultant partners and directors of Cambro Manufacturing ("Sponsor"), subsidiaries, and affiliated companies, advertising, promotion, are not eligible to participate. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules.

The Cambro^® Food Storage Makeover CONTEST ("Contest") begins on April 15, 2021, through May 15, 2021 (the "Promotional Period"). 

How to enter during the Promotion Period:

Online Entry

From a computer or mobile device, visit www.cambro.com/StorageMakeover ("Website") and follow the online instructions to register for the Contest.When the information is completed and submitted, you will receive one (1) entry into the Contest.  Contest is only valid for North America residents.

No other forms of participation are valid. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the one entry by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant will be disqualified. Entries must be received and recorded by Cambro by 11:59:59 p.m. PST on May 15, 2021, to be eligible for the random drawing. Sponsor's computer is the official timekeeping device for this Contest. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and receipt of entries will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being employed by the business.

One (1) random drawing will take place on or about June 1, 2021 from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period. The random drawing will be conducted by an independent Cambro Executive whose decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Prize winners will be notified by phone and/or mail at Sponsor's sole discretion. By entering the Contest, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges.

One (1) Grand Prize: Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") will be no more than $10,000 based on List Prices. The $10,000 prize can be used to purchase any Cambro products. If the actual purchase price or the final list price of the prize is less than the ARV stated herein, the prize winner will NOT be entitled to a check, cash or other form of payment for the price difference. The prize will not include construction changes to the facility. Once the winner receives all of the prize items, a Cambro representative will go back to the winner's location and there will be up to one full day video and photo shoot. The photo and video shoot will be scheduled at a time that is deemed convenient by the facility owner and/or chef showing the Cambro products in use. — Cambro reserves the right to conduct a photo/video shoot of the products in operation at the winner’s location. All efforts will be made to not interfere with normal operations. The shoot may be aired on the www.youtube.com/iamcambro and/or Cambro.com and/or any current and future social media channels. Grand Prize winner and employees may appear in a video if decided by Cambro. Grand Prize winner may not transfer the prize to another business.

If the Grand Prize winner does not consent to photography and video, an alternate winner will be selected by Cambro^®.

For all prizes

Expenses not stated are solely the winner's responsibility. If a winner cannot accept prize in accordance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner will be chosen by Cambro. The ARV of any prize is subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. If the actual purchase price or the final list price of the prize is less than the ARV stated herein, the prize winner will NOT be entitled to a check, cash or other form of payment for the price difference. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Total ARV of all prizes will be no more than $10,000 based on List Prices.

Participants agree (a) that Sponsor, subsidiaries, dealers, distributors, foodservice consultants and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, manufacturer representatives, agents, successors and assigns are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses, damages, costs or expenses of any kind to person(s), including without limitation, personal injury and/or death, or property damage resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participant's preparation for, travel to or participation in Contest, or acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in any Contest related or travel related activities and for claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery and (b) except where legally prohibited, winner grants (and agrees to confirm that grant in writing) permission to Sponsor and those acting under its authority the right to the use of his/her name, school district name, address (city and state), picture, portrait, likeness, voice, biographical information and/or statements, at any time or times, for advertising, trade, publicity and promotional purposes without additional compensation, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, without notice, review or approval.

Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or non-delivered entries or e-mail; or for interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), Website, telephone or other connections, availability or accessibility, or miscommunications, or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, or lines, or technical failure or jumbled, corrupted, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or technical errors or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this Contest or otherwise attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives, as solely determined by the Sponsor, will be disqualified. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods will void all such entries by such methods, and disqualify any entrant using such methods. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Contest or downloading materials from or use of the Website. Should any portion of the Contest be, in Sponsor's sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, technical failures or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest, and select the winners from entries received prior to action taken or as otherwise deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. Neither Sponsor nor its agencies are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, and assume no responsibility for any error, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation, or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized use of this Website.

For the name of the winner, write your first name, last name, and complete address on a 3" x 5" card and mail in a first-class stamped envelope to: Cambro Food Storage Makeover Contest Winner, Attention: Marketing Department, 5801 Skylab Road, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 for receipt by 8/01/21.
